Buffy & Cricket
Buffy & Cricket

ABOUT US, STRATTON POMERANIANS
No puppy mill here! My dogs and puppies are happy, well fed and very socialized. I have always loved dogs since I was a small child. I was partial to large dogs until I owned my first long coat chihuahua "Cricket" back in 1988. She went everywhere with me, I would grab my car keys, lay down my handbag and in she would run. She was so smart to stay down hidden in my handbag when she was not suppose to be seen. We were truly inseparable She was so tiny and I loved the idea that you can cuddle and pamper these little guys like a newborn baby. A couple years later, my mother wanted a pomeranian so we added to our family one of these adorable fluff balls,"Buffy" I decided then, I was quite taken with these small breed dogs. Both Cricket and Buffy bonded like they were sisters and it was meant to be. My little Cricket died back in 2003. She assured me just before she died in my arms, that she had 14 wonderful years with me. The grief and loss of her was very overwhelming for me. My husband always has been more partial to the pomeranian so he suggested in helping my grief that maybe I should start a small breeding program, something I have always talked about and wanted to do. So when I was able to feel stronger, breath and talk without crying because the lump in my throat was so thick, we went out and invested in a couple of good quality pomeranian puppies for breeding. Well, here it is 2007. With a lot of hard work, dedication, learning and experiencing, I have a pretty good program going four years later. I am still in contact with the breeder of those puppies we bought. A matter of fact, I would of never been where I am today without her wonderful help. She has been my right arm in this business and we have been very close friends to this day.
I breed for all the AKC standards and requirements specializing in the small faces, short backs, high tails in my pomeranians. They all have excellent bloodlines and pedigrees. I do not compete in shows with my dogs, although there has been some of my puppies that have shown the qualifications of the show ring. I just don't have the time for whats involved with showing dogs. So therefore, I only sell these puppies and adults as pet quality only, not show. I do not normally ship. I like to establish some kind of connection between my customer and me and I like to know where my puppies and dogs are going. All my puppies come with up to date shots, wormings, puppy starter pack and a AKC registration application. Price goes according to quality, size, color and sex. I only accept cash for my dogs, I do not accept checks, money orders, drafts or credit cards. I do not have my system set up for paypal either. Maybe in the near future when I am more familiar with it. I do not breed all the time therefore, I do not have puppies available for sale all the time. I keep updates with this website and paid advertisement when I do have them available for sale. I give my females breaks, sometimes two with each dog. Occasionally I will have a retired breeder to place out to a loving, approved home only. I post them on this website too. I do offer outside stud service to approved bitches only. The terms of fees and price is discussed at the time of service. Please view my contract page for any questions regarding my contract. If you have any other additional questions, Please feel free to e-mail me at my Contact Us e-mail addresses or call me at the posted phone number.
Again, Thank you for stopping by.
Sincerely,
Lori June Stratton
